• Immigration boss pledges working co-operation with governorA group, under the aegis, Save Imo, has commended Imo State Governor Hope Uzodimma over the recent recovery of 43 oil wells belonging to the state from Rivers State Government. The Guardian gathered that with the recovery, Imo State becomes the fourth largest oil producing state in the country. A statement, signed by the Co-ordinator of the group, Ebubeagu Ekenulo, and made available to The Guardian, yesterday, said: “Imo State is now the fourth largest oil producing state in Nigeria. “Thank you Governor Uzodimma for your courage and ingenuity to recover 43 oil wells at a go from Rivers State for Imo State. In his speech, the governor promised that the state government would work with the agency, including approving his request.
